Google announced that they’re retiring Google Affiliate Network. It’s the second time they’re retiring their affiliate network.

Google Affiliate Network

And it appears like Google either wants publishers to focus on AdSense program or their affiliate network is a disaster and they’re closing it down by saying that “We’ve made the difficult decision to retire Google Affiliate Network and focus on other products that are driving great results for clients.

But anyways I don’t think that this news is going to worry any of the advertisers or publishers as we already have tons of alternate affiliate networks that are much better than the Google Affiliate Network.

Commission Junction

There are not many affiliate programs that are exclusive to Google Affiliate Network. And this is clearly a good news for other affiliate networks like Commission Junction (CJ), LinkShare, ShareASale, etc.

Commission Junction has already prepared a list of 199 Google Affiliate Network advertisers that are also Commission Junction.
